These tests help to determine the cause of and treatment options for symptoms such as numbness, tingling, weakness, and pain in the hands, arms and legs. EMG/NCS can help diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome, pinched nerves in the neck and back, peripheral neuropathy, myasthenia gravis and muscle disease.
